Charlotte,
Margaret Mae "Margie" Andrews Duckett, 82 of Charlotte and formerly of Mebane passed away peacefully on August 22, 2016 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell. 
Margie was born in Chatham County on September 26, 1933 the daughter of the late Stedman and Mary Hilliard Andrews. She worked as a waitress in Charlotte for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, CT Andrews and Jerry Andrews.
Surviving are two sisters, Peggy Bradshaw and husband John and Shirley Marlow; a godson Zachary Laws and his brother Adam Laws; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her and were special to her.  
No formal services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers the family askes that donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
