Harvey Eugene Williams Sr.  died peacefully on September 30th 2016. A native of Orange County and longtime resident of Alamance County, he was born to Aubrey and Nan Robertson Williams (both deceased) on March 13, 1940.

He married Edna Earlene Carroll who preceded him in death and is survived by three children, H.E. ‘Geno’ Williams Jr. (Beth), Sherri (Frankie) Bradley and Tyra Williams (David Porter). He is survived by two brothers, Spencer (Charlotte) and Don (Marilyn) Williams. He leaves seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friend Brad Shue.

Gene worked many years in the textile industry and later at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. Back in the day, he loved water skiing and most of all fishing.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Omega Funeral Service and Crematory on Friday October 14 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service.
