God cares for those who have a broken heart; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds". God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Please accept my sincere condolences. So sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. Although times like these are very difficult to endure, our Creator understands better than anyone how we feel. That is why he encourages us through his word the Bible to talk to him in prayer. Psalm 55:22 says " Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you".
