Willa Ann Cable, 68 of Greensboro passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Blumenthal Nursing Center.

Willa was born in Guilford County on March 10, 1949 the daughter of the late Gilmer Clonch and Marie Hester Clonch. She worked in retail for many years as a clerk and was a member of New Life Chapel Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Cable.

Surviving are one son Tim Cable and wife Vickie of Greensboro; a sister Millie Paschal of Greensboro; a nephew Troy Hopkins and wife Sarah and a niece Tina Buxton and husband Cris; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Monday at New Life Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family gratefully asks that memorials to be made to New Life Chapel Baptist Church, Hospice of Greensboro or to the family to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory of Burlington.
