Mebane,
Jeffrey Lynn Ely, 56 of Mebane passed away April 19, 2017 at his residence. 

Jeff was born in Alamance County on June 17, 1960 the son of the late Paul Ely and Ellen Rich Ely. He was employed as a roofing contractor for many years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby, Jimmy, Buddy and David Ely as well as a sister Susan Ely.  

Surviving are one brother Johnny Ely and wife Janet; a sister Carol Gant and husband Rick; a special friend Bobby Lynch and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the family and friends that helped with the planning of Jeff's services.
