My deepest condolences to Kathy Ellen, Mindy Sue, Darren and family. When I think of Uncle Gordon he always brings a smile to my face! I just loved that man! I hadn't seen him for quite a few years due to distance and living in California for 10 years. Not seeing him will never erase the many times I spent with him in New York when I was a kid staying with him for weeks at a time and riding around with him on his "doodle bug". I remember a lot of laughter when the family was together. May he rest in peace and out of suffering. I LOVE YOU Uncle

So sorry to learn of the death of our dear uncle. I came across this obituary by accident while trying to do some geneology research. I have some very fond memories of uncle Gordon as a child and the time he spent with my Dad, Daniel Beardsley while he lived in Pennsylvania. It is sad that our family has been so separated over the years. with love, Dianne

Gordy was an amazing person! I remember so many times when I was watching him on a dozer with a customer standing beside me! The customer would be saying! "NO THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT!" I would just grin! They soon saw that it was exactly what they wanted! His talent on a bull dozer has left a tremendous beautiful mark on so many places!
I have so many great memories of the time that we spent together!
