Deborah Lynn Graves Thompson, 59 of Burlington passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at Moses Cone Medical Center. 

Deborah was born in Alamance County on August 24, 1956 the daughter of the late Coy Graves and Mary Saul Beale. She worked as a cosmetologist and a cna for most of her career. On December 31, 1993 she married John "Kenneth" Thompson who survives her of the home. 

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home is her mother Mary Beale and husband Garland of Elon; a daughter Karen Warren and husband Billy of Graham; a son Shannon Smith and wife Wendy of Burlington; a sister Rhonda Bowers and husband Frosty of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, Coy Graves, Jr, of Myrtle Beach, Wayne Graves and wife Jeanne of Burlington and Wade Graves and wife Angie of Elon; five grandchildren, Tyler Gattis, Hannah Smith, Landon Smith and Jordan Smith and Courtney Warren Sponsler; and a great grandchild, Gracie Sponsler.   

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Karen and Billy Warren, 640 Wendy Drive Graham, NC 27253.
