God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength; A help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences! Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! Dear Christy and family... I am so very sorry to learn about your loss of Clint.
Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may seem sometimes insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).
Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences and feel free to contact me.

There is an ache and pain inside me that is ripping my heart out. I am trying to find the words for my hurt and sympathy and I don't have any. Know this Christy, y'all have been on my mind and in my prayers. It's so hard to look back at Elon Elementary school all the way through high school and not have memories of Clint. I am deeply saddened and I know the class of '88 is having a tough year from the ones we have lost. I hope we see beyond to the peace and joy so our hearts heal. May God be with u all for the time ahead.

I have so many childhood memories from Elon Elementary through High school days at Western Alamance High that include Clint. He was considerate yet quiet, tough, funny and was quick to defend his friends. Although I haven't kept up with him since graduation, he was unforgettable as a larger than life friend. My condolences to his family that I remember as protective and always present. The loss must be profound; my prayers are with you all.

I am saddened to hear of Clint's passing. Clint was a good friend of mine for years and will be truly missed. Clint and I went to school together and shared the same passion for hunting and fishing. I also served with Clint at Elon Fire Department and Guilford Sheriff Department for many years. Clint was a good man and came from a great family. Now you are in God's arms. Rest in peace Clint.

Clint, you will be missed but not forgotten. I remember the good times and thankful he was my training officer. He taught me the necessary things that kept me safe and allowed me to be a better officer. He exemplified what an officer should be and was the best Guilford County had. To the family, I am extremely sorry for your loss but I also feel we all lost something because of the lives he touched. I am grateful you were a part of my life. Rest In Peace.

My heart aches for your family. I do not have many childhood memories that don’t include Clint and Chuck. From the atvs and dirtbikes, fishing and catching snapping turtles and snakes, to the pool birthday parties at my house and Clint eating an entire box of fruity pebbles at one sitting. I always enjoyed coming to your house, except for when Clint slammed my hand in the front door and I almost went into shock, well and the time he tripped me and I hit my head against the dirt bike and big Chuck had to call the ambulance. Since I found out about his passing there hasn’t been a day gone by that I haven’t reminisced about all of the fun times we had together. Though time and life has pulled us apart, he and your family will always hold a place in my heart for all of the great memories that we shared. I know this is such a trying time, and no child should go to be with the Lord before their parents, just know that everyone loved Clint and he has left a place in all of our hearts. I am blessed to have been his friend and I am praying for your family daily.
