I wasn't able to attend the service yesterday, with my work schedule dictating things these days, but I was thinking of Carrie and her family and friends all day. In fact, I've been thinking of her since I heard the news last week. I worked with Carrie on PP activities, but regret not getting a chance to know her better, as she was truly magical. Thinking of you all and praying for comfort and healing during this time. Oh, and I made a mammogram appointment, one that I had been putting off. Blessings, hope, healing and love to all, especially Mark and her "Gilmore Girls".

Carrie was a friend of our daughter's Sheila Reba during their early years in Elementary School in West Hazleton. With all of their activities it seems that Carrie was always there. She was always a lovely, sweet soul and our hearts go out to their family. It was a privilege to have known Carrie, she made our lives better.

Although we did not know Carrie, we have known the Gilmore family for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, his daughters, and the entire family who have known and loved Carrie.

It's been many years since we have seen Carrie. She was always smiling from the 1st time I ever met her. I so sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a beautiful glowing angel.

Carrie was so special. I haven't seen her since our Georgia Southern days, but I can still totally remember her laugh. My life was better for knowing Carrie. I will miss her and my heart hurts for those closest to her. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. With much love and sincerest condolences!

The death of a loved one is hard to bear. Please take comfort in knowing that your heavenly father understands your pain as he too experienced the death of his only son, Jesus Christ. Job 14: 14, 15 shows that God yearns to bring your dear loved one back to life. If you would like to know more about God’s promises, please visit the website jw.org. Please accept my heartfelt condolence for your loss.

I met Carrie at GSU. We were both resident directors at the time. She was always so full of enthusiasm and joy. Heaven has gained a true angel. My heart is gripped with sadness for her family as I know they are feeling unbelievable pain right now. I have been praying daily that her family will find comfort and some healing through all of this. Lean on Him during this time of grief and He will give you strength to "Carrie" on!
