William "Lee" Turlington, 58 of Mebane passed away on May 31, 2022 at ARMC following an illness.
Lee was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 8, 1963 a son of the late Philip Turlington and Ethel Ann Gammon Shively. He was the step son of William “Daddy Bud” Shively. Lee worked as a Maintenance Technician in the textile/manufactory industry for many years and was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and friend. He operated a Taxidermy business for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a Brother Michael Turlington and a Great Grandson, Kaiden Andrew Ruiz-Blanchard.
Surviving is his Wife Cindy K. Turlington; three daughters, Crystal Ruiz (late Andreas), Amber Bunn (Husband Cris Almaraz) and Kimberly Bunn; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 26th at 1 o’clock at the Gammon Memorial Park with Reverend Jeff Johnson officiating. A celebration of life fish fry for the family will follow the service at the home of Crystal Ruiz at 4 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be made to the family which is greatly appreciated during this time. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
