William "Bill" Daniel Evans, 76 of Burlington passed away peacefully on October 2, 2020 at Authoracare Collective Hospice Home.
Bill was born in Cumberland County on December 9, 1943 the son of the late William Bryan Evans and Eula Belle Johnson Evans. He retired from Annadeen Hoisery and then worked part time for the Times-News in Burlington. Bill was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife Carolyn Evans of the home; stepchildren, Stephanie Kunar and Wayne Hughbanks; step grandchildren, Kayla, Zachary and Megan Kunar as well as Jordan and Leslie Hughbanks.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday at Alamance Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor David Jackson officiating. Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.
