Wanda Grey Hughes Longest, 85 of Graham passed away peacefully at the home of her son Rick on June 7, 2021. 

Wanda was born in Alamance County on July 20, 1935 the daughter of the late Frank Hughes and Agnes Hughes Christopher. She worked as a pairer in the textile industry and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Arlen Longest, Sr. and two grandchildren, Tiffany Longest and Sara Longest. 

Surviving are her sons, Richard Arlen Longest, Jr. and fiance Sherrie Lynne Lassiter and William "Eric" Longest and wife Patricia; a granddaughter, Jennifer Ely (Travis) and six great grandchildren, Shea Tidwell, Keith Tidwell, Hunter Longest, Colby Ely, Landon Ely and Gavin Ely. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 pm on Friday at Graham Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-12 noon on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel.
