Victoria Jeanne Chance passed away from a brief illness on September 8, 2023, at Peak Resources in Graham, 

Victoria was born in Durham, NC, on July 13, 1950, the daughter of Ira B. and Doris Crenshaw, Jr. She was a childcare provider for numerous years, had a house cleaning service for several years, and was a homemaker. Many of her hobbies included gardening and crafts, especially beach-related crafts. She loved to shag in her younger days. She also loved the beach and a lifelong appreciation of music.

Surviving are her four children, Crystal Parrish of Burlington, NC, Brock Flinchum of Greensboro, NC, Matthew Flinchum and partner Ely Fraze of Leland, NC, and Misty Chance and fiancé Jody Cheek of Graham, NC. She also has four grandchildren: Kayli, Cole, Bryson, and Mason Parrish. She is preceded in death by both parents and two sisters, Pam Godwin, and Cathy Patton. She has one surviving sister, Jamie Ricks of Burlington, NC. She has four nephews, Kris Ladd, Michael Ladd, Kevin Patton, and Josh Shoe, and one niece, Logan Compton. She also had many grandnieces and grandnephews that she dearly loved.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on September 24th from 4 pm to 7 pm at the residence of Crystal Parrish This will be for family and close friends by invitation only. Her expressed wish was for everyone to wear white to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your individual charity of choice.
