Trudy Lamm Obituary

Trudy Anne Lamm

Trudy Anne Lamm, 61 of Burlington, NC (formerly of Rocky Mount, NC) was promoted to heaven on May 27, 2021. Born August 11, 1959 in Rocky Mount, NC, Trudy was the daughter of the late William Lassiter and Erdeen Pridgen Lamm of Spring Hope, NC. A 1977 graduate of Southern Nash Senior High, Trudy also attended Nash Technical Institute (NCC). Early in her career, she worked at Standard Products, MBM Corporation and Stoney Creek Knitting Mills. Trudy was employed in the log home sales industry with over 20 years of experience. Initially with Amerlink Log Homes in Rocky Mount, NC, she worked a few years in their Saugerties, NY models. In 2009 Trudy was employed by Original Log Cabin Homes of Rocky Mount, NC, and sold for them for the majority of the past 12 years. Trudy was most recently working in their Mebane, NC model home center.  She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her sales, providing an excellent customer experience, while building relationships with her customers and builder/contractors. Through the years Trudy earned many top sales awards and boasted a file full of satisfied customer letters and referrals.

Trudy’s constant companion was her beloved dog Jackson who she often took to work, and to the dog park.  She always loved animals and throughout her life had many pets. Trudy was a free spirit, loving and kind, never met a stranger, enjoyed socializing with friends, beach trips, and eating good food.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister and brother in law, Gail and Tony Hancock of Moneta, VA; niece Alyson Hancock of New York, NY; nephew Zachary Hancock of Moneta, VA; stepdaughter Aleesha Bauer Hunt of Hickory, NC; many special friends, extended family, and a very dear and supportive work family.

A graveside memorial service and interment will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 1 pm at Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope, NC, with Pastor Bill Brantley officiating. Immediately following the service, a 2pm - 4pm visitation will be held at the Ephesus Baptist Church fellowship hall in Spring Hope, NC.
