Tommy  led a remarkable life filled with diverse interests and a strong commitment to family. Tommy's love for his family was unwavering, as was his affection for pets.

Beyond family life, he found a great deal of joy playing the drums. Beyond the stadium, Tommy enjoyed spending time on his ranch in Liberty, NC. He also enjoyed cooking, golfing, fishing, and working alongside his wife and family. His love for crafting desserts and Texas BBQ showcased his culinary skills - banana nut bread, bread pudding for his grandkids and coconut pie, his favorite.

Throughout his career, Tommy took on various roles, from working on oil rigs and railroads to being a welder for the Alaskan pipeline. His diverse experiences in the construction field ultimately led to his role as a maintenance worker in the food, fabrics, and pharmaceutical industries. His commitment to ensuring his family had food every night demonstrated his sense of responsibility.

Tommy's sense of humor, evidenced by his colorful mint-flavored oatmeal and his affection for telling jokes, added a touch of joy to every situation. He was known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand.

He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.
