Steven Wayne Gibson, 63 of 1711 McLeansville passed away suddenly at his home Friday, April 14, 2023.
Steve was born in Alamance County on February 1, 1960, the son of Barbara Jean Boggs Graves and Bobby Leroy Gibson. He was in the textile business. Steve loves to play the lottery and he has finally WON BIG, go on treasure hunts with his metal detector, being on the river, draw and make things.
Surviving are his sisters Rita Rogers of McLeansville, NC Lisa Smith (Ricky) of Cedar Grove, NC and Debi Tony(Wesley) of Mebane, NC, several nieces and nephews and a very special aunt Betty Martin(Rick) of Gibsonville, NC.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Omega Funeral Service and Crematory with Ricky Smith, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
