Sarah Frances Whitfield, 78 of Greensboro formerly of Mebane passed away on November 22, 2021 at Camden Health & Rehab

Sarah was born in Alamance County on July 13, 1943 a daughter of the late Jesse Whitfleid and Lessie Carden Whitfield. She worked as a knitter in the textile industry and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Whitfield and Ronald Richard Whitfield and a sister, Patricia Littlejohn. 

Surviving are three sisters, Nancy Byrd (Pete), Florence Cecil (Bill) and Ruth Norris (late Robert); five brothers, Cecil Whitfield, Dwight Whitfield (late Dare), Johnny Whitfield, Thomas Whitfield and Bobby Joe Whitfield; a daughter Misty McFarling; two grandchildren, Royal Espada and Brooklyn Espada; a special niece Tina Armenta (Jose) and numerous other family members and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Tina Armenta officiating.
