Santiago Alonso Zavala, 52 of Burlington passed away peacefully on November 16, 2020 at his residence.
Santiago was born in Veracruz, Mexico on July 26, 1968 the son of Martin Alonso Reyes and Venancia Zavala. He came to the US and worked as a metal fabricator for many years
Surviving are his wife Gretti Patricia Dionicio; four sons, Israel H. Alonso Dionicio, Josue Alonso Dionicio, Samuel Alonso Dionicio and Santiago Alonso Dionicio; two daughters, Gretti Patricia Alonso Dionicio and Kelly Alonso Dionicio; two brothers, Rodrigo Zavala Ramos and Marcos Zavala Ramos; a sister Martha Alonso Zavala; two grandchildren, Aimee Hernandez and Evelyn Hernandez as well as numerous family members in Mexico and his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Biscoe and Gastonia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Haw River Seventh Day Adventist Church, 151 North Wikins Road, Haw River, NC 27258.
