Obituary

Ruth Side Ruddell passed away peacefully on the morning of August 25th, 2023 in Burlington, North Carolina. Ruth celebrated her 87th birthday prior to her passing. She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on July 8th, 1936. She is survived by her siblings, JoAnne Jennings, and Robert Sides and her daughters, Lisa Garret and Sarah Galvin. Ruth will be remembered and missed by her six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ruth will be cremated and laid to rest with her parents in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Many thanks to the caregivers at Guildford House who were so kind and Authoracare Collective for the care in Ruth’s final weeks. Mom, you are loved dearly.
