Liberty,
Ronald Wayne Ferguson, 70, a US Army Veteran of Liberty passed away peacefully on December 19, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.
Ron was born in Randolph County on November 20, 1949 the son of the late William and Mary Allred Ferguson. He was employed as a funeral director with Loflin Funeral Home for many years and was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and paw-paw. He enjoyed playing his guitars, listening to old country music and taking long walks through the graveyards. He had a very generous heart and helped others in any way he could.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years Linda O. Ferguson; daughter Elizabeth Ferguson and husband Timothy; two grandchildren, Jayla Ferguson and Aaron Ferguson; and a very special niece, Nikki Welch. Sister, Elaine Toney (Edward); Brothers Garland Ferguson (Janie) and Frank Ferguson (Marie) and several neices and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Deep Creek Baptist Church. All other times the family will receive friends at 1322 Crystal Skye Ct Burlington NC. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for all their care.
