Ricky Lee Robinson, 69, of Mebane passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness.

Ricky was born in Portsmouth, VA on September 3, 1951 the son of the late Olivia Pitt Robinson. Ricky worked for GE for many years before retiring and was a loving husband, father, grand father and brother. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a sister Tywanda Pitt. He married his wife of 35 years, the former Cathy Cates Barberie who survives him.

Surviving in addition to his wife Cathy are three sons, Robert Anthony Barberie, Michael Lee Robinson and Ricky Lee Robinson, Jr. (Amanda Remo); two grandchildren, Kayden Lee Robinson and Ricky Lee Robinson, III.; three sisters, Beaulah Whitfield Robinson, Darlene Sullivan Whitfield and Velvet Gathers Whitfield; two brothers, Rodney Whitfield and Timothy Whitfield as well as a host of other family members and friends.
