Pierre "Wayne" Thompasionas

Pierre Wayne Thompasionas, 82, of McLeansville, passed away on October 21, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Wayne was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, on November 2, 1940, the son of the late Juel Thompasianos and Dorthy Hancock. He was a US Marine and Army Veteran and retired as a Sergeant First Class Master Recruiter for the Army. Wayne was an avid Bowler, Bowling Coach, and dedicated teammate.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Diane Thompasionas and son Keith Claude Thompasionas.

Left to cherish his memory are sister Judith Ferguson, daughter Jeannine Thompasionas, sons Pierre Craig and Pierre Antione Thompasionas, as well as six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Robert Jarrell officiating. Full military honors will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
