Penny Lynn (Eades) Miller

Penny Lynn Eades Miller, 64, of Gibsonville, NC quietly gained her heavenly angel wings on Tuesday, May 9th.

Penny was born on Oct. 7th, 1958, and was the daughter of the late Delores Epperley Barringer and her husband, the late Joel O. Barringer.  Penny graduated from Western Alamance High School, Burlington NC, Class of 1977. Early on, she worked at many local restaurants and had many good career years working at Byrd's Food Stores. Always friendly, she enjoyed keeping up with old classmates, coworkers and friends through-out the year. Penny loved Elvis and all the good 70's music! She loved traveling, always saying Hawaii was her favorite place ever! 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her very special grandmother Dorothy (Granny Dot) Epperley, of Roanoke, VA. 

Survivors include her divorced husband and father of her two children, Dane Miller of Burlington NC. Her youngest son Mark Alan Miller and oldest Son Matthew Dane Miller and his girlfriend LuAnn Brown and her son Jayden Spaulding, Which all reside in Burlington; her sisters, Brenda Eades Downie of Charlotte NC, Charlie and Debbie Eades Hartzell of Charles Town WV, Bob and Linda Eades Rodriquez of Raleigh, NC, Joel and Rebekah Barringer Kaczmarek of Leland, NC; and her brother Joel (Joe) and his wife Susan Barringer of Madison, NC; her aunt Judy and her husband Dennis Webster and her uncle Carl and his wife Chris Epperley of Roanoke, VA as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews dear to her heart. And, they cared deeply for her; very special friends, Deanna and Jimmy Hughes of Burlington, NC. Penny and Deanna have been steadfast friends for 50 years. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12-2 pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Omega Funeral Service and Crematory Chapel, 2120 May Dr. Burlington, NC 27215. You may share an online condolence by visiting www.omegafsc.com. Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
