Peggy Jo Huey

Peggy Jo Bright Huey, 80, of Mebane passed away peacefully at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday May 15, 2021.

Peggy was born in Alamance County on April 17, 1941.  She was the daughter of the late Sidney Cleveland Bright and Dora Kirkpatrick Bright. Peggy retired from Labcorp after many years.  She truly  loved to garden and growing flowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Charlie Franklin "Franky" Huey and three sisters, Ruth Wilson, Betty Moreen and Mary Perry. 

She is survived by one son, Judson "Bryan" Huey (Susan); two grandchildren, Jordan Newby and Judson David Huey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 pm on Friday at Lebanon United Methodist Church with Pastor Sean Kavanagh officiating.
