Patti Love Dorsett

Mrs. Patti Love Dorsett, 67, of Gibsonville passed away Sunday October 25, 2020, at AuthoraCare Hospice House in Burlington.  She was the wife of Michael Olan Dorsett of the home. 

Mrs. Dorsett was the daughter of James Marshall Love and Edith Marie Whisenant Love of Burlington.  Mrs. Dorsett was predeceased by her parents, brother Barry Whisenant, and brother David Marshall Love of Mebane.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, son Andrew and his wife Kate of Maryland, daughter, Katelyn and her fiancé Tim Hayes of Sedalia, grandchildren, Addison, Paige, Charlotte, Leia and Freya, sister Carol Langford of TN, wife of the late Dr. Jerry Langford, sister-in-law Jane Love of Mebane, wife of the late David Love, uncle Roger Whisenant and wife Mary of Kernersville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.  A graveside service will be held at a later date with internment at Gibsonville City Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses at Alamance Regional Medical Center and AuthoraCare Hospice House for their care and compassion during Patti’s transition of life.
