Patsy Louise Blackwelder, 77 of Burlington formerly of China Grove passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2020.

Patsy was born in Charlotte, NC on August 27, 1943 the daughter of the late Thomas Griffith and Verla Flow Griffith. She attended NC State University and studied accounting and then went on to a career as a tax preparer for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Ralph Blackwelder whom she was devoted to and that devotion never waned for either of them, even through the most trying times.

Surviving are two daughters, Angela Chapman and Kelly Blackwelder; two sons, Patrick Blackwelder and Jeffrey Blackwelder; eight grandchildren, Tristen Chapman, Brittany Chapman Greenway, Marissa Blackwelder, Victoria Blackwelder, Lindsay Blackwelder Causey, Hannah Blackwelder, Seth Blackwelder and Katelyn Stirewalt; seven great grandchildren and a brother Thomas Griffith.
