Norman Gillespie Curry

Norman Gillespie Curry, Jr, 63, from Haw River NC departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021.  He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family, in the arms of his wife and daughter. 

Norm was born in Chincoteague, VA to Norman and June Curry and raised in Rockville, MD.  He found his way to Arizona where he later married and raised a family. He excelled in many trades throughout his lifetime and was primary caregiver of his recently deceased mother-in-law, Jan Frankie.  He was an avid gamer and spent many hours working on model trains and woodworking keepsake items for his family.

Norm is survived by his wife and soulmate, Annmarie Curry, his loving daughter whom he has cherished deeply, Danielle Jumalon; his 3 perfect grandchildren, Nicholas, Aidan & Celeste.  He is also survived by his Mom, June Curry and 3 siblings: Bill Curry (Sandy), Cheryl Johnston (David) and Eileen Lanham (Mark).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Friday, September 3rd at 1:00pm with Pastor Tommy Bright officiating..The family will receive friends at their residence, 2961 Pheasant Run Rd, Haw River, NC at 5:00 pm following the services.  Refreshments will be served.
