Norma Higginbotham Strock, 79, resident of Mebane, passed away Thursday, November 26th at home.
Norma was born in Lexington, Virginia on September 28, 1941. She was the daughter of James and Louise Higginbotham. She is proceeded in death by both of her parents, one brother Randy Higginbotham, and her beloved daughter Teresa.
Norma celebrated 57 years of marriage, was a loving pastor’s wife, wonderful mother, and amazing grandmother. Her life was centered around family, friends, and church. You could always find her and her husband side by side, they were the definition of true best friends. Norma and her husband enjoyed “Spying out the Territory” every chance together, even if that meant just a ride to get a sandwich and back, and loved to listen to gospel music.
Surviving are her loving husband Julius (Joe) W Strock, son Tim Strock, daughter-in-law Angie Strock, three grandchildren Kyle, Katie, and Kaleb, and two great-grandchildren Elijah (Eli) and Weston. Also, her brother James (Jimmy) Higginbotham, his wife Julia, and their two sons Robert and Andy. Also, Randy’s wife (Jane); their children Laura, Megan, Kelly, and Aaron.
