Nellie Lorena (Haithcock) Andrews

Nellie Lorena Haithcock Andrews, 79 of Burlington passed away peacefully on April 23, 2022 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home. 

Nellie was born in Alamance County on May 21, 1942 a daughter of the late Clyde Haithcock and Mary Willis Haithcock. She was a graduate of the old Gibsonville High School and was affectionately known as meemee she worked at Copeland fabrics for twenty two years and then retired from Burlington industries after thirteen years 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Skippy Andrews, a son Daniel Todd Andrews, a daughter Connie Marie Andrews, a grandson Jason Bone and her sister Judy Apple. 

Surviving are her son, Jesse Andrews (Glori); three grandchildren, Lorena Bone, Clyde Bone and Jesse Andrews; twelve great grandchildren, Nakessa, Korey, Marlayna, Sadie, Kyla, Tristen, Jakoby, Liberty, Anniston, Wyatt, Eliana and Kayleigh.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Bryan Rainbow officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
