Morris Edward Thompson, 82 of Cedar Grove passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington.

Morris was born in Caswell County on June 4, 1938 the son of the late Vance Thompson and Snow Mae McGee. He was a farmer for many years and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his dogs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Mitchell.

Left to cherish his memory are three sons, Norris Mitchell (Gloria), Morris Thompson, Jr. (Lisa) and Eric Thompson (Renea); two daughters, Angela Thompson and Anita Thompson; five brothers; four sisters and a host of other family members and friends.
