Mirian Lopez Sibrian

Mirian Lopez Sibrian age 59 of 411 Bland Blvd Burlington NC 27217 joined the angels in heaven on July 16, 2019. Born in Las Flores, Chalatenango, El Salvador, she was the daughter of Maria Angela Sibrian de Menjivar and the late Felix Menjivar Lopez.  Mirian was the fourth born out of 11 children. She helped raise her little brothers and sisters until the age of 17. At the age of 28 she made the decision to move to France with her daughter and spend the next 11 years in Cannes. While in Europe she had the opportunity to travel to all the neighboring countries such as Spain, Italy, England, and Switzerland. She learned to speak French and English while living in France. At the age of 39 she decided to come to the United States so that she could be closer to her family. After moving to North Carolina, Mirian became a medical assistant and worked at Piedmont Health Services for 16 years. She touched many lives while providing the best care to her patients.

Mirian always tried to help anyone that needed help, she volunteered at her church, St. Marks, she always talked about helping on a mission trip. Mirian found and gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2011. Her Baptism was one of the highlights of her life. She also volunteered with Hospice and dearly loved caring for others.

She leaves behind her daughter Miriam Elizabeth Lopez and a granddaughter Giselle Elizabeth Montes. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Giselle was and always will be Mirian’s favorite person. Mirian was the first family member to hold Giselle when she was born. They had a special bond that will never be broken.

She is survived by her siblings, Maria Marta Menjivar, Jose Elias Lopez, Maria Blanca Consuelo Menjivar, Jose German Menjivar, Jose Mario Menjivar, Maria Isabel Menjivar, Maria Idalia Menjivar, and Jose Gustavo Menjivar.

As we say good bye to one of the best most wonderful souls that have ever existed on this earth, please remember to love one another just like Mirian always did.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Monday at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell 918 Chapel Hill Road or to Miriam Elizabeth Lopez.
