Mickey Jerry Briggs, 67 of Burlington passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2021.

Mickey was born in Durham County on January 31, 1954 the son of the late George Briggs and Eunice Crabtree Briggs. He was a house painter and enjoyed tinkering around the house and working in the garden. He loved all of his friends like they were family and would do anything for them without asking for anything in return. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Briggs.

Surviving is his wife of 31 years Rhonda Beaddles Briggs of the home; three sons, Mickey Dale Briggs, Mickey Jerry Briggs and Jordan Briggs (Breeana); a grandson, Tristan Briggs; three brothers, Rickey Briggs (Melodee), Kenneth Briggs and Michael Briggs (Nancy); two sisters, Connie Stanley (late William) and Marie Clayton; and his three beloved dogs, Baby Girl, Gracie Mae and Elsie Lou.
