Michael Joseph Morganti

Michael Joseph Morganti, 61 of Mebane, entered into rest on May 3, 2023, at Alamance Regional Medical Center following an illness. 

Michael was born in the Bronx, NY on December 6, 1961, a son of the late Pasquale and Dolores Savino Morganti. He attended Miramar High School in Florida and was employed most of his life as a handyman as well as helping his brother John with his roofing company. He was talented with yard work and landscaping. He resided with his niece Jessica, grandnephew Isaiah, and Terence for several years. Michael was a beloved soul who was very loyal, often laughed, always UPLIFTED others, and would help anybody at any time. He cherished his family and the gatherings they would have. He established very meaningful friendships. He was especially close to his grandnephew Isaiah, and they spent a lot of time together, sharing a love for multiple outdoor/indoor activities. He took pride in cooking Italian dishes. He liked music, movies, playing cards, and sports such as boxing (old boxing matches as well), MMA, and football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nieces, Dolores Morganti and Tammy Morganti as well as a stepbrother Raymond Seney. 

Surviving are his five brothers, John Morganti (Michelle), Pasquale Morganti, Dominick Morganti (Jenn), Randy Seney (Peggy) and Robby Seney (Alise); special nieces and nephews, Jessica Morganti (Terence), Isaiah Freas, Laura Hartzell (Brent), Isabel Crockett, Bailey Crockett, and numerous other family members and devoted friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 10th at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Scott Reavis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family gratefully asks that memorials be made to a CHARITY THAT YOU THINK MICHAEL WOULD HAVE LIKED.
