Martha Ann Faircloth

Martha Ann Barnes Faircloth, 68 of Graham went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2021 at ARMC. 

Martha was born in Paragould. Arkansas on May 2, 1953 the daughter of the late Elza Barnes and Gladys Sumpter Barnes. She was a US Army Veteran and worked as an administrative assistant for the federal civil service and state government. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nothing surpassed the love in her heart for her family. She will be remembered for being a strong independent, selfless child of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Sennia Gauthier, Ollie Church, Teddy Barnes and Terry Barnes; and a grandson, Anthony Faircloth. 

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, William “Bill” Faircloth; a son, Sam Faircloth; a daughter, Kellie Chelette & husband Rob; a grandson, Jordan Faircloth; a great grandson, Skylar Faircloth and a brother, Bud Barnes & wife Shirley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm on Friday September 24, 2021 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Eddie Mishoe officiating. Full military honors will follow the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Immediately following the Celebration of Life Service, a reception will be held at 1118 Carolina St. Graham, NC
