Marion Elizabeth Worley

Marion Elizabeth Worley, 83 of Gibsonville passed away on July 26, 2019 after a period of declining health. 

Marion was born in Guilford County on September 5, 1935 the daughter of the late Herbert Coble Shepherd and Louise Tysor Shepherd. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Marion was a member of Brightwood Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Worley. 

Surviving are her daughter Sheree Apple of Gibsonville; three sons, Larry Moehlman (Kathy) of Gibsonville, Tim Worley (Leslie) of Chesapeake, VA and Stephen Worley (Tara) of Pelham, NC; two brothers, Clyde Shepherd (Betty Lou) of Gibsonville and Aubrey Shepherd (Judy) of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two step grandchildren. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Brightwood Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Larry Moehlman, 326 Brightwood Church Road, Gibsonville. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
