Marie McDowell Lunghofer, 69, of Creedmoor passed away August 29, 2020.
Marie was born in Lumberton, North Carolina on March 23, 1951 to the late Tony and Caroler McDowell. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Lunghofer, brother Ronald McDowell, and sister Bonnie Taylor.
Marie is survived by her children, Susan Gerardi, Michael Hawley, Robin Page, Bobby Martin and Valerie Martin; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Marie enjoyed fishing and camping as well as sitting on the porch watching her hummingbirds. She loved the holidays as Christmas was her favorite.
The family will have a private celebration of her life. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
