Judy Lipscomb Wall

Judy Wall, 82, formerly of Graham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.

Judy was born in Orange County on July 4, 1937, the daughter of the late John Lipscomb and Margaret Albright Lipscomb.  She was a charter member of Baptist Temple and a homemaker.  She was an incredibly creative seamstress who also enjoyed cross stitching, reading, coloring, raising flowers, and silk flower arranging.  On July 2, 1955 she married the love of her life Samuel “Dewey” Wall who survives her.

Surviving in addition to her husband Dewey of 64 years are her daughters Teresa Clark and husband James, and Debbie Rambeaut and husband Tim.  Also four grandchildren, Lydia Harris (Lucas), Christopher Edwall, Josh Rambeaut (Lisa), and Rebecca Johnson  and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday January 20th at Baptist Temple in Burlington with Pastor Don Carter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home of Tim and Debbie at 514 Church St, Gibsonville, where Dewey and Judy have resided since last March.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to Meals on Wheels of Alamance County, or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance County.  Sign an online register book at www.omegafsc.com.  Arrangements are in the care of Omega Funeral Service and Crematory.
