Josephine Chambers Lester

Snow Camp,

Josephine Chambers Lester, 80 of Snow Camp went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2024 at Authoracare Collective Hospice Home. 

Josephine was born in Buchanan County Virginia on October 1, 1943, daughter of the late Edgar Chambers and Mildred McLemore Chambers. She married Donald and they had two daughters. They relocated to Siler City, NC with their family.  Her and Donald owned two convenient stores until they decided to purse other careers.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Roland Lester and brothers Timothy Chambers and Jimmy Louis Chambers. 

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Sue Harrelson (late Brett) and Tracy Teague; three grandchildren, Cody Teague (Leslie), Taylor Harrelson (Marc) and Aryana Teague; four great grandchildren, Treasure, Dallas, Princeston and Parker; a brother Mark Chambers; a sister Shelby Stroupe. 

Donna and Tracy would like to thank Spring View Assisted Living and Hospice for the loving care they gave to their mother. 

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to AuthoraCare Collective  Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
