Joseph "Joe" Fayne Obituary

Joseph “Joe” Richard Fayne, 89, of Pikeville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Wayne UNC Health Care of Goldsboro. He was previously a resident of Burlington.

Joe was born in Alamance County on April 3, 1933, to the late Hedrick O’dell Fayne, Sr. and Lelia Virginia Fayne.

He was retired as a Security Guard and enjoyed listening to country and gospel music. He served in the Army as an MP.

He is survived by his daughters Debra Penley, (Mike), Barbara Millikan and Laura Dabbs. Eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son Reuben O’dell Fayne, Wife, Vickie Fayne, Siblings, Hedrick O’dell Fayne Jr, Bobbie Davis, Jane Penell, and Jack Fayne.

No services are scheduled to take place as requested by Joe.
