Johnny Baldwin, 68 of Burlington, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Duke University Hospital.

Johnny was born in Chatham County on October 23, 1952  the son of the late Ernest Baldwin and Clara Baldwin. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his spouse of 31 years, Angela McClure.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Clara Baldwin; three daughters, Andrea Baldwin-Lea (Ruth) of Burlington, Deidre Lowery (Andre) of Randleman, and Jennifer Poole (Cameron) of Graham; seven grandchildren, Desiree, Antoine, Sydney, Dion, Dacia, Kaleighya, Adrian; three brothers Jack Baldwin, Curtis Baldwin, and James Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many people who loved and cared about him.

Johnny devoted his life to his family and children, his grandchildren being the highlight of his life. Lovingly known as “Papa” and by his extravagant stories, he will always be remembered. 

Johnny will truly be missed by everyone.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, May 24, 2021 in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory.
