John "Johnny" Arthur James

John A. James(Johnny),68 of Burlington went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 16,2021 at Hospice Home of Burlington after several years of failing health. Born in Alamance County, he was the son of the late Archie Durwood James Sr. and the late Edna Cleona Moss James. Johnny was semi- retired from Special T Hosiery. Johnny enjoyed spending time with his family and when he was in better health spending time in his shop with his nephew Kristopher tinkering with car’s. Johnny is survived by his niece Angel Wrenn & Husband Keith, Nephew Archie D James jr Ill & wife Sherri. Great nephew Kristopher Wrenn & wife Shandelyn, Joshua Wrenn, Tony Tucker, Jesse James & great niece Kaysie Citty & husband Chris. Johnny also had great,great nieces Kyleigh Wrenn, Elizabeth Citty & a great,great nephew Mason Citty.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother  Archie D James Jr ll.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home of Burlington.
