Jo Anne Morton Murray, 72 of Mebane passed away peacefully on July 20, 2020 at Authora Care Collective Hospice Home.

Jo Anne was born in Alamance County on June 18, 1948 the daughter of the late Arlie McBride and Carrie Rector McBride. She worked as a beautician for many years and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy McBride. 

Surviving are two daughters, Cherrie Palma and Jennifer Rudolph; a brother Danny McBride; a grandson, John Duffey and wife Morgan  and two great grandchildren, Brandon Duffey and Anastasia Duffey. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery. Social distancing is required. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and all other times at the home of Cherrie Palma, 420 N. First Street Mebane, NC 27302.
