Our Dad, Jerry Lee Lynch’s time here on earth has passed after a swift battle with lung cancer. Dad passed peacefully at his home in Burlington after a wonderful 67 years, he was surrounded by his loving family when he entered the heavenly gates on Saturday, April 4, 2020, he is now fishing with Jesus!

Our Dad was a simple man with a big smile and a warm heart. He is loved by many and will truly be missed. Dad was witty and full of light, he had great jokes and loved to laugh but more than laughing he loved a good hot meal and eating out, especially at his favorite restaurant Cracker barrel.

Jerry was born in Rockingham County on July 16, 1952 the son of the late Linsey Leroy Lynch and Sadie Perkins Lynch.

Surviving in addition to his mother Sadie are Son, Jerry Lee Lynch Jr., Daughters, Tammy L. Poole and Amanda Lynch, and adopted son, Tommy Lynch.

Brothers, James Lynch of Burlington, John and Michael Lynch both of Gibsonville; a sister Regina Hatch as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his father, Jerry was predeceased by his brother Glenn Lynch.
