Jeffrey Carl Tucker, 56 of Gibsonville passed away peacefully while clinging to his mothers hand on October 27, 2020at the home of his aunt.
Jeff was born in Alamance County on February 6, 1964 the son of the late Carl Hampton Tucker and Betty Allison Tucker. He was a member of Mt Hope United Church of Christ and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. Jeff was a Duke fan and enjoyed Blue Grass music. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Tucker, maternal grandparents, Holt and Mary “Maw Maw” Allison and paternal grandparents, Elder Bell and Alva Tucker.
Surviving in addition to his mother Betty Allison Tucker is his brother Scott Tucker; his sister Karla Tucker; a nephew Dustin; aunts and uncles, Otis and Cindy Tucker, Marion Allison, Bernell Holyfield, Leroy and Brenda Allison, Peggy Everette, Lawrence and Vanessa Allison, Julius and Michelle Allison and Rodney and Janice Allison.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ with Rev. Kristen Gerner-Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Jeff’s cousin Terry Holyfield who was by his side at every opportunity and to Authoracare Hospice caregivers, Mitzi and Emily.
