Jason Mitchell Taylor, 58, of Raleigh NC, Passed away on Oct, 8, 2021 at Rex UNC Hospital

Jason Taylor  was born in Burlington NC on August 8. 1963 the Son of Linda and David Fuller.  He graduated from Williams High School in Burlington NC , and received his RN Degree from Alamance County Community College, being part of the First Class of Nurses ever enrolled there.  He served as a Nurse in many areas, including the UNC Cancer Center, University of Alabama Emergency and Trauma unit, as well as the Emergency Departments of UNC-Wilmington, and Alamance Regional Hospital for 20 years Although he retired, his caring heart still called him to service, so he became a private contract nurse, as well as a member of the staff of Nurse Next Door, providing respite and palliative care for patients and their families until his passing.. 

Jason’s caring nature also extended to animals, providing love and care for rescued animals in several cases, and he loved to be outside in a garden, planting and nurturing to watch flowers bloom and grow.

Surviving are his Fiance, Alfred Dolge, his Mother, Linda Fuller, an Uncle Willam MCall, and his Sister, Karen Morton and her husband Thomas Morton, and his Nieces and Nephews Anessa, Marlee and Tyrell “Tink”.

Preceding him in passing were his Grandparents, Julia and  Jake McCall, his sister, Paula Carter, a Grandson Cody Albright, his father, David Fuller, and a daughter Alicia Whittaker Taylor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on 10/22/21 at Omega Funeral and Crematory with Rev Allen Waller officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel at Omega Funeral at 1-2 PM on 10/22/21
