Irving E. Fasan, Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at his home in Burlington, NC.  He was 92 years old.

Irving was born outside of Chicago in Hammond, IN on April 30th, 1927, the son of Irving Edward, Sr. and Margaret Brucker Fasan. Mr. Fasan taught for 35 years as a law professor at Creighton University in Omaha, NE before retiring to North Carolina to be with his son and grandchildren.  Mr. Fasan loved learning, languages, and had a grand sense of humor.  He was passionate about truth and ethics and worked hard to be an exemplar for others.

Surviving are wife Vada of Burlington; children Jacques, Alyssa, and Elena Fasan;  grandchildren Sidney Putnam, Thomas, Lucas and Nicholas Fasan. 

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on June 9th at Blessed Sacrament Church with Fr. Paul Lininger, OFM, Conv. officiating. The visitation will be from 9:15-10:00 in the gathering space.  The family will receive friends after the service at the Fasan home. Masks and social distancing will be observed.
