Yanceyville,

 

George Steven Perkins, 47, of Yanceyville departed this earth on April 12, 2023. 

 

George was born in Chesterfield County to George and Myrtle Bridges. The family moved to Charlotte in 1976 and he attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools He moved to Yanceyville in 2019 with his family. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father George Bridges, his grandmother and grandfather. 

 

He leaves to cherish his memory his life partner, Lisa Blackwell; two daughters, Deena and Meena who were the love of his life; his mother Myrtle Bridges; brother Wesley Perkins (Ledilyn); sisters, Marika (Marvin), Carlette (Eric) and Rhonda (Timmy); fourteen nephews; nine nieces; five aunts; four uncles; twelve great nephews; thirty great nieces; special ones, Amanda, Mary, Becky, Kathy and a hose of loving cousins and friends. 

 

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday at Northlawn Memorial Park. 

 

You'll be in our hearts when its time to say goodbye, you'll be in our hearts spring, summer, fall and winter and even if the sun doesn't set at all. You'll be in our hearts, that's where you'll always be as God's love and grace will carry us through.
