Graham, NC George Dean Dodson, 61, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC on April 11, 2022at 8:07am.

George was born in LaPlata, MD on March 23, 1961 to Gordon Ollie Dodson Sr and Shirley Ann Zell. George was raised in Fairfax, VA. He was employed in the food service for over 25 years. George also served proudly in the Army (1978 - SP4). George’s personal hobbies were cooking, when working on vehicles he was a jack of all trades, shooting pool (9 pool teams), electrician, and helping people in need. He never met a stranger, if someone was in need George was there.

Survivors are his mother, Shirley Zell or Woodbridge, VA, William Francis Dodson (brother), and Gentry Dean Dodson (son) both of Winchester, VA. Carolina Dodson Reynolds (aunt) of Warsaw, VA and he was like a brother to Teresa Ann Norton of Ocala, FL. Also, George had much love for his pool family. George was proceeded in death by his father, Gordon Ollie Dodson Sr, Gordon Ollie Dodson Jr (brother), and Debbie Ann Fary (sister).
