Obituary

Gage Michael Stubbs of Gibsonville, NC, died in a single car collision, at 8:42pm, April 2, 2022, on Elon -Ossippee Rd, in Elon after leaving work.
He graduated from Western Alamance Highschool in 2019, where he was active in Anime Club and helped found D&D Club. Although he worked in the deli at Food Lion, where he was well liked and respected by his peers and superiors, he aspired to open a comics and gaming store with his younger brother. He was a musician, an excellent cook, a dungeon master, and a rising meme lord. He was compassionate, empathetic, and kind. He loved sarcasm, satire, and humor. He loved his girlfriend and her daughter, he loved his friends, he loved his siblings, with whom he was always patient, available, and supportive. He loved his parents, who were infinitely proud of their son.
He is survived by his mother, Kamla Ashley, his father, Jeff Rice, his stepmother, Amber Rice, his stepfather, Ben Ashley, grandparents Dennis and Pat Careatti, Linda Fredrickson, Charles and Debbie Black, Beverly Rice, siblings Rachel, Kenzie, Lyssa, Zak, Lucy, Alice, Lindsey, and Taylor, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, an unnameably long list of friends, and his girlfriend Naomi and her daughter Emma.
We will celebrate his life, and passing in to the universe, at home, with Family, friends, and co-workers, Saturday April 9, starting at noon, with the bon fire at 8pm. Invitation is open to those who already know the way, and to those who know someone who does.
