Dorothy "Darline" Ingle

Dorothy Darline Ingle, 67 of Burlington went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2024. 

Darline was born in Alamance County on December 31, 1956, daughter of the late Homer Ingle and Ruth Ledford Ingle. She and her husband Tommy operated the Ingles family dairy farm for many years and were members of The Way Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Ingle and Elaine Turner.

Darline is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tommy Ingle, Sr.; three children, Tommy Ingle, Jr. (Tonya), Jaclyn Shoffner (Brian) and Melissa Ingle (Pernell); eight grandchildren, Jacob Hobson (Gabrielle), Tanner Baldwin (Justice), Gillian Hobson (Kevin), Jordan Shoffner (Samantha), Kaley Shoffner, Bailey Ingle, Blake Shoffner and Aramani Williamson; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth Shoffner, Madelyn Shoffner and H.J. Shoffner; a brother, Daniel Ingle (Annette) , a sister Debra Ingle and a special nephew, Jerry Rabon (Melissa) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and family members. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at The Way Church, 580 Highway 100 Whitsett, NC 27377. The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm prior to the service at the church. You may share an online condolence by visiting www.omegafsc.com.
